Terms of Service

Agreement

By creating an account or using GanttGrind (“the Service”), you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service. We’ve written these to be readable, not to bury things in legalese.

What GanttGrind Is

GanttGrind is an adaptive exam preparation platform. It provides practice questions, mastery tracking, and readiness analytics to help you prepare for professional certifications. It is a study tool — not a substitute for professional instruction, official review courses, or the judgment of a qualified educator.

Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. One account per person. Don’t share your account or use someone else’s. You must provide a valid email address. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

Pricing and Payment

GanttGrind offers a free tier and a Premium tier. The Premium tier is a one-time payment that grants lifetime access to the full question bank and all premium features. The current price is displayed at checkout and is subject to change for new purchases. Existing lifetime access holders are not affected by price changes.

Payments are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your payment card information. By completing a purchase, you agree to Stripe’s terms of service. Your Stripe customer ID may be stored in our database to facilitate support and refunds.

Refund Policy

All purchases are generally final. If you believe you were charged in error or have a billing dispute, contact us at [email protected] within 30 days of your purchase. We will review each request on a case-by-case basis. If a refund is approved, it will be issued to your original payment method and your account will be returned to the free tier.

Refunds are not issued for accounts suspended or terminated due to violations of these terms.

Score Report Incentive Program

GanttGrind operates an incentive program that rewards users who voluntarily upload their exam score reports. By participating, you grant GanttGrind a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use your anonymized exam result data to train and improve our pass prediction model. Your individual results are never publicly disclosed. Rewards (such as account credits, free access, or discounts) are granted at our discretion and are subject to availability and verification. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the incentive program at any time.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, copy, or redistribute questions, explanations, or any content from the platform.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the question bank, algorithms, or prediction models.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scripts) to interact with the Service.
  • Share your account credentials or allow others to access the Service through your account.
  • Interfere with the Service’s operation or other users’ experience.
  • Submit false or misleading exam results or question flags.
  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

Content Ownership

All questions, explanations, algorithms, and content on GanttGrind are owned by GanttGrind or its licensors. You may use them for personal study purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, sublicense, or commercially exploit any content from the platform.

Content you submit (question flags, notes, exam results) grants us a license to use that content to improve the Service, subject to the privacy practices described in our Privacy Policy.

Limitations & Disclaimers

  • The question bank goes through a multi-stage validation pipeline but may contain errors. Use the Report Issue button on any question to flag problems.
  • Readiness predictions and pass likelihood estimates are statistical models, not guarantees. A high readiness score does not guarantee you will pass. A low score does not guarantee you will not pass.
  • Features, pricing, and content may be updated or changed over time. Uptime and data availability are not guaranteed.
  • GanttGrind is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to Project Management Institute (PMI) or any certification body.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
  • All questions are accurate or free of errors.
  • Readiness predictions or pass likelihood estimates will be accurate.
  • Using the Service will result in passing any examination.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GanttGrind shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or exam fees, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your Settings page. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in behavior that harms the Service or other users. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before termination, except in cases of severe or repeated violations. Termination due to a terms violation does not entitle you to a refund.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the Service evolves. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and may notify you by email. Continued use of GanttGrind after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms or the Service will be resolved under applicable federal and state law.
