CAPM Practice: Validate requirements through product delivery

Project-level acceptance criteria define what 'done' means for the entire project: the business outcomes, performance levels, and quality standards the whole product must achieve. Individual story acceptance criteria validate pieces; project acceptance criteria validate the whole.

**Why not A:** "Criteria used to select which product to build" confuses acceptance criteria with product selection or portfolio management decisions. Product acceptance criteria define the conditions that a delivered product must satisfy to be accepted by the customer or stakeholders. They do not determine which product concept to pursue in the first place.

**Why not C:** "Minimum feature count required for release" conflates acceptance criteria with a minimum viable product (MVP) concept. Acceptance criteria are specific, measurable conditions for each requirement or user story, not a numerical threshold of features. A product could meet all acceptance criteria with fewer features if each one satisfies its defined conditions.

**Why not D:** "Regulatory approval criteria" narrows acceptance criteria to only compliance-related conditions. While regulatory requirements may be part of acceptance criteria, product acceptance criteria encompass a much broader set of conditions including functional correctness, performance, usability, and stakeholder satisfaction—not just regulatory compliance.
