Value stream analysis traces the path from customer need to delivered value, identifying where value is created versus where waste (delays, rework, unnecessary steps) occurs. BA requirements that address waste in the value stream produce the most impactful improvements.

**Why not B:** Value stream analysis examines the flow of activities and information required to deliver a product or service, not the relative contributions of individual team members. Evaluating which people "add the most value" conflates a process-level tool with a personnel performance assessment, which is a separate HR concern entirely.

**Why not C:** Counting how many features add value is a feature prioritization activity, not value stream analysis. Value stream analysis maps the end-to-end sequence of steps from request to delivery, identifying waste and bottlenecks in the process. It is concerned with how work flows, not with tallying individual feature contributions.

**Why not D:** Revenue stream analysis is a financial planning concept focused on how an organization generates income. Value stream analysis, by contrast, examines the operational steps in delivering value to customers. While both use the word "stream," they address fundamentally different domains and serve different analytical purposes.
